Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS to support our clients' business needs. Additionally, the candidate will develop courses and training materials to assist team members, students, and clients in learning how to use and develop AWS-based solutions.
This role requires a strong understanding of AWS architecture, development best practices, a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions, and a passion for teaching and mentoring others.
Design, develop, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure on AWS to meet business requirements.
Implement and manage cloud-based solutions to ensure efficient and scalable operations.
Monitor and optimize cloud performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand cloud requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
Automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and regular audits.
Document cloud processes, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain compliance.
Develop training materials, provide training, create documentation, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and guidance when needed.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint and Microsoft technologies and trends.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, architecture, and best practices.
Proficient in cloud automation tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
